Crown Princess to Sail Year-Round from Australia

By Cruise Booking Team

From October 2024, Princess Cruises‘ 3,100-guest Crown Princess will be home-ported in Australia on a year-round basis. The ship will depart Sydney for a variety of itineraries.

There will also be departures from Fremantle, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne as the Crown Princess replaces the Coral Princess.

In June 2025, Princess Cruises will embark on its annual Australia World Cruise, a 113-night trip that will visit Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, the Caribbean and South America.

Throughout March 2025, the Crown Princess will offer a 28-night Australia cruise. The month-long journey will stop at 13 ports, including Albany, Geraldton, Margaret River, Willis Island and Cairns.

Shorter itineraries are also available to Queensland, New Zealand, the South Pacific, and Southern Australia.

The Crown Princess was built at Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and first entered service in 2006, introducing several new features, including The Sanctuary.

In the outdoor area, Princess described it as an adults-only “oasis of tranquility,” with plush seating, massage cabanas, signature drinks and light meals.

Additionally, the ship features most of the company’s signature features, including the piazza-style atrium, the 300-square-foot Movies Under the Stars poolside theater, and several dining and lounge venues.

Diamond Princess and Royal Princess will also be sailing in Australia in the 2024-25 season for Princess Cruises.

There will be several Diamond Princess cruises departing from Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide, as well as Royal Princess cruises departing from Sydney, Hobart, and Auckland, New Zealand.
