During the summer season of 2025-26, the Discovery Princess will homeport in Sydney.
During its 50-year history of cruising down under, the Discovery Princess will be the largest ship to ever homeport in Australia. It will make its debut in Sydney in October 2025.
According to Princess Cruises President John Padgett, the Pacific Princess ship was introduced to Sydney nearly half a century ago. Today, we are pleased to announce the deployment of the Discovery Princess as a commemoration of this milestone, cementing our commitment to Australia.
Australian guests will be excited about the spectacular experience aboard Discovery Princess when she sails from Sydney in late 2025.”
For the summer season 2025-26, Padgett said the cruise line is delighted to include the Discovery Princess in its Australian fleet. A full summer program, including the longest World Cruise yet, will be announced next month, which includes the Crown Princess and Grand Princess.
From world-class entertainment and facilities to superb cuisine, Discovery Princess will set new standards for premium cruising when she sails from Australia in the summer of 2025-26.
