During the 2024-25 season, Princess Cruises will offer four itineraries exploring Antarctica.
During the voyage, travelers will be able to observe the Falkland Islands’ penguins and the landscapes of Elephant Island, according to a press release.
Princess Cruises is the only cruise line that sails Antarctica on large ships,” said John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises. With our master navigators, unique local relationships, and outstanding amenities, you can access these exotic destinations in a very comfortable and immersive manner.
There are 15 departures on 11 itineraries for 2024-25. An overnight stay in Buenos Aires is included with the 17-day Antarctica voyage. We will depart from New York on December 1, 18 and 20, 2024, respectively, on the Sapphire Princess.
Further exploration can be found on the 51-day South America Grand Adventure sailing on the Majestic Princess between Los Angeles and Fort Lauderdale. Buenos Aires, Lima and Rio de Janeiro are all on the itinerary.
There are also 14 or 15-day cruises offered aboard the Majestic Princess on December 19, 2024, covering Cape Horn and the Strait of Magellan. In February and March of 2024 and 2025, Sapphire Princess will sail reverse itineraries.
