Icon of the Seas’ New Ropes Course-Style Attraction will Cost $89.99

By Cruise Booking Team

Based on passenger reports on social media, Royal Caribbean International has set the price at $89.99 per guest for the Crown’s Edge experience on the Icon of the Seas.
This price detail was disclosed on the company’s website, which has now started accepting bookings for this innovative ropes course-style attraction.
Expected to debut onboard the Icon of the Seas, Crown’s Edge is described as a thrilling combination of skywalk, ropes course, and a ride over the sea.

Suspended above the ocean on one of Icon’s upper decks, this new feature is mounted on the ship’s Crown & Anchor logo, boasting a suspended walkway with ever-changing shapes and formats during the course.
The exhilarating ride culminates in an unexpected drop, suspending passengers 154 feet above the ocean for a brief period.
The entire adventure spans approximately 90 seconds, with an additional 15 minutes expected for preparation.
Crown’s Edge is set to be part of Icon of the Seas’ Thrill Island, one of the ship’s five new neighborhoods.
Thrill Island, located on the top deck, will host various attractions, including Category 6, the industry’s largest waterpark at sea.
Category 6 will offer six waterslides, including Pressure Drop, known for its steep 66-degree incline, marking the industry’s inaugural open free-fall slide.
Other attractions in Category 6 include the 46-foot-tall Frightening Bolt, the highest drop slide at sea, along with Storm Surge and Hurricane Hunter, the first family raft slides at sea accommodating four riders per raft.
The Icon of the Seas, presently undergoing final preparations after delivery by the Meyer Turku shipyard, will commence service in late January with Caribbean cruises departing from Miami.
