Royal Caribbean International’s next Icon class ship will receive approximately 350,000 square meters of DOBEL Film Laminated Steel from Metalcolour.
Meyer Turku will construct the ship. This fall will see the first partial deliveries.
According to Ingemar Forsberg, CEO of Metalcolour Group, “We are both proud and happy for the trust and good cooperation we share with Royal Caribbean International and Meyer Turku.”.
As a bonus, we are particularly pleased to be celebrating Metalcolour’s 50th anniversary at the same time as receiving one of the largest orders we’ve ever received for a single cruise ship.”
Metalcolours began delivering DOBEL products to the Icon of the Seas in early 2022, covering walls, ceilings, doors, and wet areas.
We are often praised for our flexibility as a supplier in the targeted industries for the high quality of our DOBEL products. As our company has grown, we have developed innovative solutions that have both been beneficial to our customers and the end result. The relationship is appreciated and helps us build long-term business relationships,” said Ingemar.
