Royal Caribbean International has announced an extensive lineup of two- to five-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises for the 2026-2027 season, featuring 11 ships across various classes, including four Oasis-class vessels, as well as Freedom, Voyager, and Vision-class ships.
A highlight of the upcoming season is the debut of two Royal Beach Clubs. The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau is scheduled to open in December 2025, offering guests an exclusive Bahamian experience. Following this, the Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico is set to welcome its first guests in late 2026, providing a new private destination for travelers.
The Utopia of the Seas will continue to operate year-round from Port Canaveral, offering three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas. From Miami, both Wonder of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas will provide three- to five-night itineraries, featuring stops at Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
During the summer months, Mariner of the Seas is slated for four- and five-night cruises to Mexico, departing from Galveston. Simultaneously, Rhapsody of the Seas will offer similar itineraries from Tampa. Grandeur of the Seas will provide short getaways to the Bahamas and Key West from its homeport in Fort Lauderdale.
In the winter season, five additional ships will expand the short cruise offerings. Harmony of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas will sail from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Liberty of the Seas will operate four- and five-night cruises to Mexico from Galveston, while Oasis of the Seas will conduct three- and four-night Bahamas cruises from Fort Lauderdale. Vision of the Seas is scheduled to return to Miami, offering three- and four-night cruises to destinations such as Bimini, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and Key West.
In addition to the Caribbean offerings, Royal Caribbean is expanding its presence on the West Coast for the 2026-2027 season. Voyager of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas will sail from Los Angeles, marking a significant return to this port. Furthermore, the Serenade of the Seas will initiate cruises from San Diego, offering two-night trips to Baja Mexico, including visits to Ensenada. These West Coast deployments provide new options for travelers seeking shorter cruise experiences.
Galveston, Texas, is emerging as a major hub in the cruise industry. The port is projected to become the third largest in the U.S. by next year, with plans to open a fourth cruise terminal in 2025. This expansion aligns with Royal Caribbean’s increased offerings from Galveston, including the deployment of Symphony of the Seas for six- to eight-night Western Caribbean adventures during the 2026-2027 season.
These developments reflect Royal Caribbean’s commitment to providing diverse and accessible cruise options, catering to a wide range of travelers seeking short yet enriching getaways in the upcoming seasons.
