Serenade Commenced the Second Leg of Royal Caribbean’s 274-Night World Cruise

By Cruise Booking Team

On 11th February 2024, the Serenade of the Seas marked the commencement of the second leg of Royal Caribbean International’s ambitious 274-night Ultimate World Cruise aboard.

Departing from Los Angeles, this 88-night segment promises an epic journey that will conclude in Dubai on May 9, after an extensive exploration of the Asia-Pacific region.

This leg of the voyage will traverse three continents and 40 unique destinations. The itinerary includes stops in Hawaii, Tahiti, and French Polynesia, followed by an exploration of Australia and New Zealand.

From there, the Serenade of the Seas will venture northward, making stops at many destinations across Southeast Asia and the Far East. The cruise will call at ports in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, South Korea, and Japan, offering a comprehensive tour of the region.

The journey towards the United Arab Emirates will also include visits to iconic locations in the Indian Ocean, such as Sri Lanka and India.

Royal Caribbean highlights that during this leg, guests will have the opportunity to witness three of the world’s most renowned wonders: the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Great Wall of China, and the Taj Mahal in India.

The Serenade of the Seas embarked on this global odyssey from Miami earlier in the year. The full journey covers over 150 ports across 60 countries and all seven continents, making it Royal Caribbean International’s longest cruise to date.

The voyage will circle back to South Florida in September. After setting sail from Port Miami, the ship has already visited numerous locations in South America and the Caribbean, such as Brazil, Argentina, and the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao).

Highlights of the first leg include scenic cruising through the Antarctic Peninsula, Patagonia, and Tierra del Fuego, alongside stops in Central America and the Mexican Riviera.

The comprehensive itinerary also spans various Mediterranean locales, ports in the Black Sea, the Middle East, Northern Africa, and Northern Europe.

As the Serenade of the Seas makes its way back to Miami, the itinerary plans for additional stops in the North Atlantic, including Iceland, Greenland, Canada, Bermuda, and New York City, ensuring a truly global exploration.
