As a partner of Seabourn, the Seabourn Venture has completed its first year in service.
This is the first expedition vessel built by the company and was delivered by the T. Mariotti shipyard on June 19, 2022.
In July, the 264-guest vessel began its inaugural season as a new exploration product for the company.
There were different itinerary options to the Arctic, including Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, and the Canadian Arctic.
Before arriving in Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen, the first expedition departed from Tromso, in Norway, and sailed to other destinations in Norway – including the North Cape.
A christening ceremony was finally held in November following the Seabourn Venture’s maiden Arctic season.
In Antarctica, guests of the ship served as honorary godparents, joining Alison Levine, the ship’s official godmother.
Seabourn Venture will continue exploring the Arctic in its second season.
With a voyage starting in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, and ending in Nome, Alaska, Seabourn’s longest-ever Northwest Passage voyage begins on August 27.
Additionally, the Venture will offer a second season in Antarctica later this year alongside its sister ship Seabourn Pursuit.
A series of expeditions depart from Ushuaia, Argentina, to visit the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, and the Falkland Islands.
Sailing in polar and remote areas was a primary objective of the Seabourn Venture, which sports PC6 Polar Class standards.
The 26-person crew of the 23,000-ton yacht offers a selection of complimentary expedition activities in addition to its small-ship luxury experiences.
Additionally, the vessel has a fleet of submarines designed by custom-made designers, eight dining venues, and duplex suites.
