Silversea announced the launch of The Three Oceans, its most extensive world cruise to date, which is set to embark on a 149-day journey aboard the Silver Dawn starting on January 8, 2027, as mentioned in a press release. The cruise, departing from Los Angeles and concluding in Copenhagen on June 7, 2027, will visit 80 destinations across 35 countries on five continents and includes 20 maiden ports of call for a Silversea world voyage.
Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea, stated: “Calling in more destinations than any voyage in Silversea’s history, we proudly unveil The Three Oceans World Cruise 2027, which broadens our industry-leading offering of extended voyages.” He further explained that traveling on the Silver Dawn, one of the smallest ships to undertake a World Cruise, will give guests an opportunity to explore off the beaten path, where they can spend an extended time in each port, the longest for any World Cruise. Over the cruise, they will visit over 50 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, explore 20 new destinations not previously visited on Silversea World Cruises, and participate in four exclusive World Cruise events. These bespoke experiences are curated by their expert team, leveraging over 30 years of destination expertise to offer the finest experiences in ultra-luxury cruise travel.
The voyage will traverse the Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic oceans, linking over 50 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It begins with a journey through the Pacific Ocean from Los Angeles to Brisbane, with stops in locations including Hawaii, Nuku Hiva, Rangiroa, Moorea, Bora Bora, Apia, Lautoka, Champagne Beach, Lifou, Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays, Darwin, and Brisbane.
The cruise will then continue through the Indian Ocean, visiting places like Bali, Semarang, Singapore, Colombo, the Maldives, Seychelles, Reunion, and various locations in South Africa.
After departing from Cape Town, Silver Dawn will sail along the west coast of Africa, stopping at ports in Namibia, Angola, Ghana, and Gambia, culminating in Dakar. The itinerary also includes visits to Praia, Arrecife, Agadir, and Casablanca among other destinations.
