Viking Announces New 2026-27 World Cruise Itineraries

Viking has unveiled its new world cruise routes for 2026 and 2027. The revised itineraries feature Viking World Voyage III, a 170-day expedition that will explore 41 nations, provide 82 guided excursions, and highlight overnight visits in 18 cities.

Torstein Hagen, chairman and CEO of Viking had this to add:
“Our approach in everything we do has always been to focus on the destination, from our thoughtfully curated itineraries to our elegant small ships, which are designed to bring guests closer and enable exploration.”

As per a company announcement, the Viking Sky is set to leave Fort Lauderdale on December 22, 2026, with a route that spans six continents and wraps up in Stockholm on June 10, 2027. The intended itinerary will feature stops in Hawaii; several islands in the South Pacific, including French Polynesia; New Zealand and Australia; Asia; the western coast of Africa; and numerous locations in Europe, concluding in either London or Stockholm.

Moreover, Viking World Voyage IV presents a 153-day shorter alternative that leaves Los Angeles on January 8, 2027, visiting 37 countries and featuring 18 overnight ports before concluding in Stockholm. Itineraries of 142 days setting sail from Fort Lauderdale to London are available, stopping at 31 countries, along with a 125-day journey, Viking World Discoveries, leaving Los Angeles for London and visiting 27 nations.

The travel plans feature overnight stops at ports like Sydney, Zanzibar, Cape Town, and Casablanca, alongside excursions to cities along Africa’s western coast such as Lagos, Accra, and Takoradi. Onboard classes, cultural trips, and tours of local organizations are included in the experience.

The new itineraries showcase destinations such as Kauai (Nawiliwili), Hawaii; Cairns, Australia; Mombasa, Kenya; Agadir, Morocco; Phuket, Thailand; Lisbon, Portugal; Greenwich, London; and Stockholm, Sweden.

Viking is presently providing promotional offers to travelers in North America, who can save $60,000 per couple, until March 31, 2025. These promotions feature complimentary business class flights and transfers, $4000 credit for shore excursions, $2000 shipboard credit, and free beverage packages. Repeat visitors qualify for extra onboard credit($2000 per couple) and a lower deposit(limited time offer) of 10 percent.
