Cudrin was the daughter of the Norse nobleman Rolf (also called Rollo), who conquered and ruled the Viking Duchy that came to be known as Normandy. Kadrin (Norse variant of "Catherine") married King Bjoran of Scotland. Kadrin and Bjorran had a daughter, Midbjörg, who married the Icelandic Viking Helgi Ottarsson.
