Age Restrictions for Alcohol Consumption
- Now, it is in effect on all trips.
- Royal Caribbean International ships from North America: Minimum age is 21.
- Royal Caribbean International ships from Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Minimum age is 21.
- Royal Caribbean International ships from Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, & New Zealand: Minimum age is 18.
- The minimum age is 21 at all private destinations, no matter where you depart from.
- The company may change the minimum age for any trip according to local laws, but this rarely happens.

Alcohol Policy
Prohibited Items
- Beer and hard liquor cannot be brought onboard for drinking or any other use.
- Alcohol taken during boarding will not be given back.
Inspection and Disposal
- Security may check items like water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, and luggage.
- Alcohol found in containers will be thrown away.
Alcohol Policy Violation
- Violations include excessive drinking, giving alcohol to minors, irresponsible behavior, or hiding alcoholic items.
- According to the Guest Conduct Policy, violations can result in removal from the ship or denied boarding at the guest's expense.
- Alcohol will not be returned to underage guests.
- All guests must follow TSA rules about carrying liquids.
Wine and Champagne Allowance (Boarding Day)
- Guests can bring two (2) 750 ml bottles of personal wine or champagne in their carry-on luggage on the day they board.
- Any extra bottles brought onboard or bought elsewhere will be kept and given back on the last day of the cruise.
Consecutive Cruises
- Guests on back-to-back cruises can bring two (2) 750 ml bottles of wine or champagne per trip for each stateroom.
- Extra bottles will be stored and given out (two at a time) on the first day of each following trip.
- Guests with more than two bottles at the start of the first cruise must show documents for consecutive sailings to security on boarding day.
