The Social Area on MS Santa Cruz II offers travelers the opportunity to share their passion for travel. There are multiple decks including Ocean, Horizon, Panorama, Expedition and Skydeck. Each room has a comfortable seating area and offers stunning views of the nearby islands. Every social occasion is exquisite.
Overlooking the front of the ship, the Expedition Lounge, complete with refreshment station and library, is the perfect place to see the beauty of the Galapagos Islands from onboard. The Science Corner is a great place to learn about our scientific work, with showcases, microscopes and a collection of bone clones.
In addition to being the main bar, this large, bright area is also where most of the ship's events (welcome and farewell cocktails) take place and is an ideal venue for lectures. With WiFi hotspot and direct access to the outdoor patio, it's the ideal place to kick back and relax.
The Sky Deck provides an area for guests to relax and enjoy their Galapagos explorations while soaking up the sun on board. Here you will find a sundeck and a fitness room.
Enjoy Galapagos views on the backyard patio that doubles as an area for happy hour specials and freshly baked snacks. On the same deck, guests can also stay indoors in the Expedition Lounge & Bar and visit the state-of-the-art Bridge.
Reception at the ship's main crossings has a central bulletin board with the daily program and other valuable information related to the expedition experience.
