Age Restrictions
Effective immediately across all voyages, the minimum drinking age for all alcoholic drinks on Royal Caribbean International is as follows:
- On Royal Caribbean International ships departing from North America, the minimum age for alcohol consumption is twenty-one (21) years old.
- On Royal Caribbean International ships departing from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, guests must be at least twenty-one (21) years old to consume alcohol.
- The minimum age for alcohol consumption on Royal Caribbean International ships sailing from Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, & New Zealand is eighteen (18) years old.
- Guests must be at least twenty-one (21) years old to consume alcohol at all private destinations, regardless of the sailing's point of origin.
- Occasionally, the Company may adjust the minimum age for alcohol consumption on any sailing if local laws mandate or permit such changes, retaining that authority on rare occasions.

Alcohol Policy
Prohibited Items
- Guests are not allowed to obtain beer or hard liquor onboard for use or any other purpose.
- Any alcohol confiscated on embarkation day will not be returned.
Inspection and Disposal
- Security may inspect containers such as water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, and luggage.
- Containers found to contain alcohol will be discarded.
Alcohol Policy Violation
- Violations of the alcohol policy include excessive drinking, supplying alcohol to minors, irresponsible behavior, or attempts to hide alcoholic items.

Wine and Champagne Allowance (Boarding Day)

Consecutive Cruises
- Guests on back-to-back cruises may bring two (2) 750 ml bottles of wine or champagne per voyage for each stateroom.
