Effective instantly on all sailings, the minimum drinking age for alcoholic beverages aboard Royal Caribbean International ships is as follows:
- Sailings originating in North America: The minimum age for alcohol consumption is twenty-one (21).
- Sailings originating in Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Minimum age is twenty-one (21) for alcohol consumption.
- Sailings from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand: The minimum age for alcohol consumption is eighteen (18).
- For all private destinations, the minimum age remains twenty-one (21), irrespective of sailing origin.
Note: The Company reserves the right, under rare circumstances, to adjust the minimum age of alcohol consumption on any sailing in compliance with local laws or permissions.
Alcohol Policy
Prohibited Items:
- Guests are prohibited from bringing beer or hard liquor on board for consumption or any other purpose.
- Alcohol seized on embarkation day will not be returned.
Inspection and Disposal:
- Security may inspect containers such as water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage, etc.
- Containers holding alcohol will be disposed of.
Alcohol Policy Violation:

Consecutive Cruises:

Smoking Policy
