Viking Sky has fewer boutiques onboard and sells Viking-branded wear and gifts; watches and bracelets, among other things, can be found on the ship. Most of these items are geared towards the luxury market, however, such as purse bags, perfume, and shawls. Scandinavian designs of gifts, such as wool, cutlery, and local art pieces, can be purchased. The choice of goods available is not very much unlike that of other sizeable vessels, but since it is built on quality in terms of variety, sourcing unique items is not a problem.
Each port on the Viking Sky cruise ship has an active daytime engagement and service in the form of shore excursions, which have been structured to help the passengers appreciate cultures at every port of call.
