Smoking Policy
All ships are designated as non-smoking; however, designated smoking areas are provided for guests who smoke.
Smoking Areas
- Outdoor areas, except near restricted zones, food venues, kids' areas, and pools.
- Casino Royale permits smoking, with specific non-smoking areas marked, except on ships departing from China, Hong Kong, Australia, and the UK.
Non-Smoking Areas
- All indoor public spaces, including dining venues, theaters, bars, lounges, and elevators.
- No smoking in staterooms or on balconies; a $250 cleaning fee applies for violations.
Tobacco Use
- Proper disposal is required; not overboard throwing.
- Cigar and pipe smoking is restricted to designated outdoor areas and Cigar Bars.
- E-cigarettes are allowed only in established smoking areas.
- Tobacco sales and use are restricted to guests aged 18 and above.
Enforcement
- Violations of the smoking policy may lead to further action under the Guest Conduct Policy.
- The policy is in effect for cruises departing on or after January 1, 2014, as updated in September 2013.
Service Animals
General Information
- Service dogs are welcome on all ships; pets are not accepted.
- Service dogs are described as dogs trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities.
Evidence of Service Dog
- Identification is helpful but not required.
- Acceptable evidence includes ID cards, documentation, harnesses, tags, or credible verbal assurance.
Relief Areas
- 1.2m x 1.2m (4ft x 4ft) relief areas with cypress mulch provided.
- Sod is available for U.S. sailings if ordered in advance.
- Relief areas are shared; Central Park on Oasis-class ships is not a designated relief area.
- Notify the Access Department of booking or at least 30 days before sailing if a relief area is needed.
Pubkids'rea Access
- Service dogs are allowed in all public areas, including dining venues.
- Dogs must be leashed, harnessed, or restrained in public areas.
- Dogs are not permitted in pools, whirlpools, or spas.
Care and Supervision
- Owners are liable for the care and maintenance of their service dogs.
- Ships do not provide food or care for service dogs.
- Guests can bring food and bowls for the dog at no extra charge.
- Refrigerated space can be requested from the Access Department at booking or at least 30 days before sailing.
Disembarking and Port Stays
- If guests disembark at a port and the service dog remains onboard, guests must arrange for the dog’s care.
- Ship staff are not required to care for the dog, and dogs cannot be left unattended in staterooms.

Pregnancy
Royal Caribbean International cannot tolerate visitors who will be over 23 weeks pregnant during the cruise or Cruise Tour.
Medical Considerations
- No Obstetrician/Gynecologist is available on the ship.
- Unstable and poorly controlled pregnancies can be life-threatening without backup.
- Guests may be at sea for several days without immediate hospital or specialist backup.
- The suggested itinerary is not within the U.S., and specialized shore-side facilities may be problematic.
Pre-Arrival Requirements
- All guests must fill out a Public Health Questionnaire earlier to arrival or at the pier.
- Guests must attest that they are not more than 23 weeks pregnant.
