In 2013, a multi-million dollar makeover of the 102,853-ton, 3,006-passenger Carnival Sunshine transformed the ship, which now features all the new features and Fun Ship 2.0 innovations. This ship has something for everyone, so bring your family along on the cruise of your dreams.
Four pools (one with a retractable roof), seven hot tubs to melt you away, and a three-deck, 214-foot twister waterslide with a drenching bucket at the end. This is a family’s dream hotel. From the Lido Deck’s tiered decks, you can watch the latest movies on a giant outdoor video screen, get a spa treatment, and work out on the many machines in the fitness center. Over 20 bars and lounges line the Promenade Deck – a wine bar, sports bar, piano bar, and even a cigar lounge where you can enjoy a cigar with your favorite cocktail.
The three-deck-high adult-only area has plush chaise lounges and chairs, a pool, a whirlpool, and a waterfall. There is a huge 1,300 square foot indoor/outdoor kid's play area with its pool so your kids can play while you relax in this oasis. The video arcade is a hot spot, and teens have a club with a dance floor and soft drinks. A ropes course, mini-golf, basketball court, pool tables, foosball, jogging track, and more are all located in the ship’s outdoor recreation area.
On Carnival Sunshine, you’ll find two main dining rooms with plenty of options and ocean views through the big windows. If you have a refined palate that demands variety and quality, you won’t be let down. From handcrafted burgers and fries at the poolside spot to Asian and deli-style fare at the two-deck buffet, casual spots have it all. Carnival Sunshine has room to spare, with most outside cabins having balconies and sitting areas. The mattresses on this ship are super comfortable. Pre-Pay
Tips can be added at the time of booking or at any time up to the departure date. Guests who book directly with Carnival can add a prepaid tip at Carnival.com. Guests who have booked through a travel agency can contact their travel agency to add a prepaid gratuity to their booking. Prepaid gratuities will be reflected in the "Other Charges" field on booking confirmations and guest electronic documents.
Sail & Sign®
If the guest has not prepaid a tip, the recommended amount per person will be transferred to the Sail & Sign account on the penultimate day of the cruise. If a guest is unsatisfied with the service they receive, please contact the Guest Services Desk on board. This allows us to respond to your concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. At the guest's discretion, the tip may be adjusted after being credited to the guest's account on board. Any gratuity posted to a guest's Sail & Sign account will be final upon guest disembarkation and will not be changed after the cruise.
