This Mexican buffet is open for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks. Great for breakfast as they have arepas, huevos rancheros, and made-to-order breakfast burritos. The food is great until the afternoon, with freshly made tacos (chicken, fish, or pork) and burritos (beef, shrimp, chicken, or bean). Toppings include lime-infused rice and pico de gallo to beans and corn. Soft taco shells are made fresh, the food is delicious, and the lines are short, especially on port days.

Forget what they say — the most important meal of the day is brunch. Slumberers can sleep in and still get breakfast, early risers get a head start on lunch, and Seaday Brunch brings everybody's favorite mid-morning meal to your Carnival cruise and does it right. You'll enjoy huevos rancheros, special French toast, loaded mac-n-cheese… and yes, more ways to cook eggs than we even thought was possible. Chow down and fuel up — you've got lots of ships to explore for the rest of the day.

17. Steakhouse Selections
Who said you can't always get what you want? Certainly not on a Carnival cruise. Chances are something from our steakhouse sounds good — filet mignon, New York Strip, lobster, or surf & turf — and you know what? Now, you can get those signature steakhouse dishes on your plate any time you're having dinner in our main dining room. Whether you're with friends, have the kids in tow, or just want something different in a familiar setting, you'll find great options on your dining room menu.

Our sandwiches and wraps are always hand-carved and served fresh with cole slaw or relish. Stop by, get your sandwich fix, and remember the kosher dill.

19. The Captain's Pasta Bar
A few things make a great pasta dish: fresh ingredients, the right mix of spices and sauces… and, of course, al dente preparation. The care and expertise of a pasta pro takes it to the next level — and you'll find them at The Captain's Pasta Bar. Choose your pasta — linguine, farfalle, penne, anyone? — then select your sauce and meat, and they'll cook it up in the same Italian tradition we serve up nightly at Cucina del Capitano®. While you're lunching, take in the rustic Italian country home decor… there's nothing like ambiance to bring out the flavor in a dish.
20. Dr. Seuss Breakfast
The whole family can enjoy this breakfast, which is part breakfast and part journey into the world of Dr. Seuss. As expected, the Cat in the Hat and Friends serve green eggs, ham, and other whimsical treats. It's recommended to reserve, as this breakfast only happens once or twice on a sea day
21. Sunrise Dining Room
The Carnival Sunshine has two main dining rooms: the Sunrise dining room and the Sunset dining room. The Sunrise dining room is on decks three and four. Fixed dinner seating is at 6 pm and 8:15 pm on deck four. If you prefer their Your Time Dining, you can dine anytime between 5:45 pm and 9:30 pm on deck three. They get busy from 7 pm onwards, so you may want to get there a bit early for the Your Time Dining slots. Breakfast is served at sunrise on sea days. It's a sit-down, full-service menu with open seating.
22. Sunset Dining Room
This second main dining room is on deck three and has fixed dinner seating at 6 pm and 8:15 pm. During some meals, the servers will sing and dance and parade around the dining room if someone is celebrating a birthday. They have some items that are always available for dinner, which include salmon fillet, flat iron steak, chicken breast, and pork chop. You can also pay extra for the always-available steakhouse selections, which include broiled Maine lobster tail, surf and turf, filet mignon, and New York strip loin steak.
