Carnival Valor is a cruise ship that promises to turn your average vacation into a fantastic adventure with lots of fun and great destinations.
Carnival Valor is designed to be very comfortable and offers a lot of entertainment. It has a large theater, five swimming pools (one has a roof that can open and close), four restaurants, 22 bars, a casino, a nightclub with lots of video screens, an internet café, a children's game room, various shops, gyms, a fitness area, and a track for jogging, volleyball, and basketball.
There are special food places on board, like BlueIguana Cantina™ and Guy's Burger Joint™, as well as the fancy Scarlett's Steakhouse. You can enjoy a drink at RedFrog Pub® or Alchemy Bar® or watch sports at SkyBox™ Sports Bar.
Kids have special areas where they can play and make friends, and they can also enjoy Dr. Seuss™ activities and stories at Seuss at Sea™. The ship has a big waterslide that's 214 feet long and four decks tall.

Carnival Valor was built in Italy in the early 2000s and first sailed in late 2004. It cost $500 million to build. Katie Couric, who used to be on the "Today" show, named the ship.
Since its start, the ship has been updated several times. In 2008, they improved some rooms and added a lounge for preteens, a seaside theater, and a mini golf course. In 2011, they added more rooms and an adults-only area during a 14-day upgrade.
The biggest update was in 2016 in the Bahamas, which added many new bars and eateries, a new youth club, a candy store, and an updated buffet area and internet café. The most recent update was in 2021 in South France, where the ship’s exterior paint and design were updated.
It is customary for guests to tip crew members for their diligence and good service. Her 100% of the tip goes to the crew she interacts with. Pre-Pay
Tips can be added at the time of booking or at any time up to the departure date. Guests who book directly with Carnival can add a prepaid tip at Carnival.com. Guests who have booked through a travel agency can contact their travel agency to add a prepaid gratuity to their booking. Prepaid gratuities will be reflected in the "Other Charges" field on booking confirmations and guest electronic documents.
Sail & Sign®
If the guest has not prepaid a tip, the recommended amount per person will be transferred to the Sail & Sign account on the penultimate day of the cruise. If a guest is unsatisfied with the service they receive, please contact the Guest Services Desk on board. This allows us to respond to your concerns in a timely and appropriate manner. At the guest's discretion, the tip may be adjusted after being credited to the guest's account on board. Any gratuity posted to a guest's Sail & Sign account will be final upon guest disembarkation and will not be changed after the cruise.
