Hurtigruten Expedition Cruises are designed to maximize your experience of the destinations you visit. On non-landing days, we recommend spending as much time on deck as possible. Attend educational talks and lectures held at various locations on board. Knowledge and understanding of a destination's nature, wildlife, culture, and history often enriches the travel experience.
Our expedition team will help you be well prepared for the experience ahead. They then surrender again and answer questions. Bingo, arcade games and entertainment theaters are not found on traditional cruise ships. Our goal is to bring you closer to a unique environment and give you the opportunity to share this experience with other travelers. In some cases, there may be light entertainment on board in the evenings.

The ship has a spacious outdoor area. A great place to sit, relax and watch the world go by.

The onboard shop offers modern clothing for expedition cruises. Our expedition team is happy to provide expert advice on proper polar clothing. We offer a wide range of both warm and practical clothing, focusing on natural fiber fabrics. Souvenirs, handicrafts and postcards are also available. We also have a small selection of soaps, toothpaste and other personal items.
The observation lounge has large panoramic windows with spacious and comfortable seating. Binoculars are sold at the onboard shop.
