Our culinary team’s attention to detail, passion for artisanal ingredients and dedication to technique extends to our casual dining, poolside experiences, Baristas coffee bar and the cherished ritual of Afternoon Tea at Horizons too.
Celebratory, indulgent and unforgettable – a night in either of Marina’s exclusive culinary venues, Privée and La Reserve by Wine Spectator, offers a divine experience. La Reserve by Wine Spectator creates distinctive pairing dinners and also features sommelier-led tastings and wine seminars. Meanwhile, the opulent private dining venue of Privée transforms a dinner into a luxurious affair. Each creates an extraordinary evening to laugh, savour and remember.

The Grand Dining Room's decor reflects the stately elegance of Europe's 5-star hotel restaurants, which inspired it. This signature dining experience has always offered a bevy of delicious Continental dishes, and now a fresh and new array of options brings you even more exciting choices, an incredible spectrum of global flavors, and an all-new Executive Chef’s Tasting Menu.
Adorned with heirloom antiques, pickled wood tables and artwork from Jacques Pépin’s personal collection, Jacques evoked a Parisian bistro. The chairs are comfortable, the décor eclectic, very French, as is the cosmopolitan yet wonderfully embraceable cuisine. Rich aromas float from the sparkling show rotisserie, where chicken, duck, pork, beef, and veal slowly rotate on large spits. Every dish is a classic, masterfully reimagined by Master Chef Pépin. Rotisserie roasted chicken is succulent, falling off the bone and teeming with flavor, and his sea bass fillet is perfectly matched with beurre blanc.
Citing feng shui, Red Ginger emits balance and peace. The decor literally sparkles with ebony woods, ruby red leather, and exquisite, contemporary Asian paintings. To match the gorgeous surroundings, the chefs of Red Ginger have concocted new, contemporary versions of Asian cuisine. Start with a spicy roast duck and watermelon salad with cashews, mint, and Thai basil. Dig into a Malaysian beef Penang with coconut rice and paratha roti. Or sample the Thai vegetable curry with sweet potatoes, aubergine, mushrooms, and basil in green curry sauce. In Red Ginger, the visual delights are equaled by the palate delights.
Polo Grill is all the things that define a steakhouse and says it with classic flare. With an eye to tradition, the interior offers clean, white linen tablecloths, dark wood tables, and soft, high-back burgundy leather chairs. Each dish is a classic, or as they are most famously known. And, of course, beef is a steakhouse staple. All entrees are certified Black Angus USDA Prime and dry-aged for tenderness and flavor. Delicious seafood offerings, including grilled swordfish and whole Maine lobster gratinée, are classics as well. Even the classic Caesar salad is tableside and theatrically prepared.
Toscana is Tuscan, and as the cuisine of Tuscany grew from lavish family traditions, many of our recipes trace their origins to the mothers and grandmothers of the Italian culinary staff of our Resort. Set before magnificent examples of custom-designed Versace china, expertly crafted dishes reflect the heart of Tuscany and the passion for fine Italian cuisine. Perhaps the evening starts with octopus carpaccio with Champagne vinaigrette or artichoke and parmesan cheese timbale with black truffle sauce. Timeless recipes from other Northern Italian regions are also represented, like minestrone alla Genovese, lasagna alforno alla Bolognese and osso buco alla Milanese.
Casual and unpretentious, the Terrace Café is great at any time of the day. At breakfast, floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the room in natural light, awakening the appetite for the delicious offerings. At lunch, the menu of internationally inspired dishes shifts entirely, supplemented by a savory roast and the pizzazz of the pizzeria’s brick oven. Choose to dine inside or outside on one of the teak tables nestled among the shade. In the evening, cuisine adds a touch of sophistication, with lobster tails, chops and fresh fish cooked to order, and hand-cut sushi and sashimi made fresh. A variety of exotic and delicious plant-based offerings also are available.
Sometimes, all you want is to sit back and dine casually on all-American favorites. And that’s what Waves Grill is all about. Set in a spacious, shaded seating area just steps away from the swimming pool, Waves features a mouth-watering, extensive menu. Then indulge in a delicious dessert like homemade passion fruit sorbet, a hot fudge sundae made before your very eyes, a hand-dipped milkshake, or one of our new and deliciously whimsical ice cream flavors by Humphry Slocombe like Secret Breakfast, Elvis (the Fat Years) or our signature flavor Regatta Royale.
At Aquamar Kitchen, where wholesome flavors meet, a light, airy space that conjures up a Mediterranean summer that never ends, and with just the right touch of decadence, you’ll feel it in your body and your soul. Healthy breakfast options include invigorating cold-pressed raw juices and superfood smoothies, delightful avocado toast, energy bowls, banana pancakes, and savory omelets. For lunch, choose from dozens of enticing and nutritious plates, like a fulfilling Lebanese bowl with beef kafta, falafel, muhammara, fattoush, aubergine caviar, and pita bread; yellowfin tacos with white cabbage slaw, or perhaps a crunchy chicken sandwich on a freshly baked whole grain bun. The trendy seaside-inspired decor and eclectic array of fresh, colorful dishes are so indulgent – yet without guilt.
For the ultimate in privacy, Privée can be booked in the evening for parties of up to 10 distinguished guests. Several different gourmet menus are available to accompany your bespoke experience in this beautiful, custom-designed interior under a golden Venini chandelier.
One of La Reserve’s long-time favorite ways to bring people together, this multi-course dinner offers exploration for all senses. With seven exquisitely plated dishes, each expertly paired with fine wine, from bay scallop teriyaki seared on Riverstone and served with a glass of Laurent Perrier rosé to veal tenderloin Wellington with cabernet sauvignon reduction and harvest vegetables served with a glass of Eberle cabernet sauvignon, this is an absolute celebration of wine pairing, and something you won’t want to miss out on.
Teatime is a daily celebration at four o’clock. Our staff enters with four-tiered pastry carts loaded with freshly prepared finger sandwiches, petits fours, scones, and terrible desserts. Naturally, an array of classic and estate-grown teas is the focus of this most glorious of afternoon activities. As a classical string quartet serenades the room with soft, elegant music, Teatime offers a moment of relaxation and the opportunity to engage with your guests. Teatime menus can be tailored to suit any taste. But, for the true White Star Express experience, one must include the classic cucumber sandwich.
Our lovely coffee bar offers one of the most popular cups of joe around. Indulge in complimentary illy® espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes expertly crafted by our master baristas or the delectable pastries, finger sandwiches, and homemade biscotti that attract hordes of visitors to Baristas all day long.
If none of the above pleases you, in-cabin service is also available 24 hours a day. Continental breakfast is served through mid-morning with beverages, cereal, toast, baked goods, fruit, and yogurt. Concierge-level and above have a choice of hot items such as omelets and eggs, pancakes, and oatmeal. Check the door card or call when you’re ready. We liked that the room service staff phoned the room to advise that breakfast was on the way just in case we slept in.
