Oceania Cruises is an adult-oriented cruise line (Oceania Marina Review) with a product targeted towards a more mature passenger. Therefore, the ship will not cater especially to kids or teens. There are no kids or teen clubs, as you may find on some cruise ships, and most of the ship’s facilities, décor, and ambiance will appeal to adults rather than teenagers or kids.
Having said that, well-behaved kids or teenagers who can entertain themselves or join in with adult activities are, of course, allowed on board. All families are welcome to use the regular facilities like the pool, library, and public lounges. However, parents should be aware that the ship’s ambiance and theme are for relaxed entertainment, food, and cultural immersion and not for the usual family type of activities or entertainment. If you are looking for a kid’s club or constant entertainment for younger guests, then Oceania Cruises and the Marina are not the ships for you.
If you are traveling with kids or teens, I suggest you make some arrangements to entertain the whole family together. For example, you could book excursions suitable for all of you, watch movies under the stars (if the ship offers this service), or involve them in some of the cooking demonstrations and food tastings (older kids may find this interesting).
