Guests can enjoy the cruise wearing any casual dress, such as jeans or slacks, with comfortable boots or shoes, according to the expeditions and destinations. For example, they can wear their gym clothes in the fitness area or an evening dress for all dining venues, special events, and performances.
Guests with disabilities are also welcome on Viking cruises. However, they must travel with proper documents and with a non-disabled companion who can assist them, as staff onboard are instructed not to help such guests. In addition, they need to bring their wheelchair and fill out the accessibility form before sailing for other arrangements.
Viking always welcomes special dietary requirements of their guests, but they must be informed at the time of booking or 90 days prior to the cruise.
Viking cruises are generally smoke-free, but there is a designated outdoor smoking area for guests. Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin, on the veranda, or in any eating area. These restrictions also apply to e-cigarettes.
