Designed by Nordic Emblems as on of Royal Caribbean cruise line's ship of the Vision Class, Vision of the Seas offers a casual average sized cruise with a capacity of 2050 guest at double occupancy rate. The ship is known for, and decorated with a lot of glass, as a result, it is very bright with the active five decked Centrum that is the center of the ship—an entertainment area filled with shops, bars, and lounges. All the same, it does not feature some of the things that mega ships do like the FlowRiders and the water slides; it does have more than enough outside spaces including two pools: one which is for the family with children being the main focused area and the other, a quiet space for adults known as the Solarium. Children’s activities, interactive game shows, original musicals, and rock climbing are but a few of the available activities that make it all appealing to cruise lovers irrespective of their age.

Operating all year round from Baltimore, Vision of the Seas runs numerous itineraries, including several 5-night Bermuda escapes, 8-night Caribbean voyages that feature Perfect Day at CocoCay, and extended 9- to 12-night cruises to Canada, New England, and the Southern Caribbean. These shorter sailings offer a good introduction to people who have not cruised before, so they are just long enough to see the ship and a couple of its ports.

Although it is more than 20 years old, Vision of the Seas is still fresh and pleasant looking, having been refurbished in 2013, 2017, and 2022. A few staterooms exhibit slight signs of usage. However, the glass features do an excellent job of ensuring that the interiors of the ship are bright and welcoming. Vision lacks most of the modern facilities that are found in new ships, but it excels with individualized attention, an entertaining cruise director, and old-fashioned acts such as game shows at night.

If you are looking for a more relaxed type of vacation away from the prying eyes of modern center’s this ship is ideal for you. From sunbathing on deck to enjoying all manner of cruising activities including Broadway and Trivia shows, there are some activities to keep one busy. The vision of the Seas is value for money; it packs a lot in terms of comforts, places, and crew, friendly and warm.

On all our ships it is customary to tip staff for their excellent service and attention to detail. Service charges can be prepaid as part of the reservation. This can be divided into restaurant staff, flight attendants and other cleaning service staff. If you choose not to prepay the service fee before the cruise, a service fee of $14.50 per guest per day will be automatically added to each guest's SeaPass account. For Grand Suite guests and above, the amount she pays is $17.50.

An 18% service charge is also automatically added to beverages and beverage packages, mini-bar items, spa & salon purchases as well as specialty dining products, including packages, classes and brunches.
