One of the most surprising aspects of Crystal Symphony is that the ship (and the entire line) welcomes families with children of all ages. In fact, children over 6 months of age are permitted to travel with the line at any time and on any route.
Fantasia is Crystal Symphony's Kids Club for children aged 3 to 7 and 8 to 12 years old. (Children under three must be supervised by a parent or adult at all times). The club provides youngsters with tables and seats for art-related activities, as well as Sony PlayStation and Xbox 360 kiosks, giant wide-screen televisions, and board games. During holiday cruises and practically all summer sailings, a fully supervised Junior Activities program is available.
The kids' and teen clubs meet in the Teen Centre and Children's Playroom on the Lido Deck. The space contains distinct areas for children in the Fantasia Club and teens in the Waves Club, and it may be divided into two rooms or combined into one. The hours of operation vary according to the number of youngsters aboard the ship.
Waves serve 13 to 17-year-olds. It includes a video arcade, video games (Wii, PlayStation, Xbox, and Kinect), large-screen televisions, Blu-ray players, and a movie projection system. Fashion shows, pool games, volleyball, and paddle tennis are among the activities available, along with late-night pool parties, twister popcorn parties, and e-mail services.
